My Favorite Holiday!

St. Patrick's day has always been my favorite holiday. And it is not what you think, I do not like the pinching. I enjoy the amount of green that appears every year in the stores. My favorite color is green and I am obsessed with it.

Facts about St. Patrick's Day:

Shamrocks are the national flower/emblem of Ireland.
1962 marked the first time Chicago dyed their river green for St Patrick's Day.

My love for this holiday came from my favorite color of green and my fascination with Irish culture.
